The time has come once again for the annual district archery contest. This will take place over the 24/25th November at the usual venue of 1st Garstang HQ, kepple lane, garstang.

Teams of no more than 6 individuals please. Each team will be allocated a one hour slot between 9am and 5pm Saturday, 9am and 3pm Sunday, please state if you have a preference however slots will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Please apply to myself at complexmicky_g@hotmail.com or to Jenny Gornall at jennygornall@hotmail.com

Cubs will be allowed 6 sighting arrows, 18 scoring arrows

Scouts will be allowed 6 sighting arrows, 24 scoring arrows

As always district equipment must be used which both levels the playing field and saves us time having to safety check and equipment participants bring.

For the first time there will be a leaders competition. Subject to the same conditions as scouts. Leaders my take a turn shooting with their sections.

As always this is a very long weekend for the instructors so we ask if you have an archery qualification, come and help us out!!!! Even just for an hour so we can grab a brew!

Obviously remember you can not instruct or score for your own troop / pack so no-one can call foul play!

Just get in touch with which day / time you are available, especially if district funded your course!

Kind regards
Mike Gornall
