A Message from our District Commissioner, Jon Minshull:
Welcome to the start of the new calendar year and our first newsletter of 2021. It was great to see so many of you at the All Member’s Meeting earlier last month where Thomas, a Scout from 1st Carleton, took on my role for the evening as part of the County’s ‘Wear Their Necker’ month, running the meeting superbly. This was one of many who took part in this great initiative across the District, allowing young people to take the lead helping them develop important skills.
2021 will be an exciting year for Wyre Scouts and there are many amazing events being planned to look forward to! Finally, a big thank you for all that you are doing to support Scouting at a difficult time, it’s been amazing to see how members of Wyre Scouts are working together, supporting one another and continuing to provide young people with exciting and innovative programme activities online.
