District Secretary:
Following the recent retirement of Hazel Brindle as District Secretary, we’re now searching for someone to take on this important role. We’d like to thank Hazel for all her hard work and dedication over her many years in this role and we wish her all the best for the future.
This role will help you to shape Wyre Scouts, enabling us to provide more young people with skills for life whilst developing your own CV, skills or confidence while having fun and making new friends.
SASU Manager (Programme & Events):
Following the resignation of Cyril Crossley from the role of Wyre Scouts Active Support Unit Manager, we are now looking for a highly motivated volunteer to join the District Team to lead the Wyre Scouts Active Support Unit.
The Programme and Events SASU is an important function in the District, and provides support to all parts of the Wyre Scouts Team to ensure that young people have the opportunities to gain skills for life.

Badge Secretary:
Following the sudden passing of our excellent and long serving District Badge Secretary, Bob Taylor, we are now searching for someone to take on this important role.
The role provides a great amount of flexibility and is a key contributor to recognising young people who have progressed through programme activities, developing Skills for Life. For information about this role, the role description can be found here.
