Request from 1st Sonning Common Cub Scouts, South Chilterns District, Oxfordshire
Hi,
I'm the Akela and I would like to do the Communicator Badge with my Cub Pack this Term.
One of the activities is to communicate with a cub in a different pack.
If you are a cub, or a cub leader who wants to do the same badge,
and would like to communicate with my cubs please contact me
through the 1st Sonning Common website www.1stsonningcommon.org.uk .
Yours in Scouting,
Penny Cottrell

The Cub Scout Law
Cub Scout's always do their best
think of others before themselves
and do a good turn everyday
The Cub Scout Promise
I promise that I will do my best,
to do my duty to God and to the Queen,
to help other people
and to keep the Cub Scout Law
The Grand Howl
When people think of Cubs they will often think " DYB, DYB, DYB; DOB, DOB, DOB" .
These acronyms haven't been used by scouting since 1967.
They come from the Wolf Cub Grand Howl and stand for "Do Your Best / Do Our Best "
The Grand Howl is stil the traditional way of opening a Cub Scout Meeting
